Breakfast at The Green B&B

We want you to have a good start in the morning and offer a breakfast tray with several options.
We use local products as far as possible.

Our home made sour dough rye bread is fermented for more than 20 hours. We also have white bread
and semi white. Homemade when we have the time for it.

The bread is served the Scandinavian way as “smørbrød”. Ready with various toppings of your choice.

The eggs are from “Bakke gard” one kilometre up the road.
There Guri and her family takes care of almost 100 chickens,
and many quails. She also sells eggs to hotels and fine restaurants.

The apple juice is from the “bonsai apple trees” you see right over the fence.
Our lively neighbour Una is the farmer (you sometimes hear her laughter all over the village 😊).
She attends the trees all winter, harvest apples in the autumn and have them squeezed and bottled.
(You can also buy it in the local grocery).

The yougurt is sprinkled with nuts and seeds and local honney from Knut who lives in the litle white house
with the brown door across the bay.
Cakes are homemade with love and local eggs exept for the vegan versjon.

Besides coffe, tea and aple juice, herb tea from our garden is an option.
The spread on your bread can be; cheese, ham from turkey or chicken on green pesto,
Salami sausage, Boiled eggs with majonaise or anchovey,
scrambled eggs with samlon or cured ham, hummus with green topping, bread with homemade goosberry jam
or strawberry. Peanutbutter with chocolate (the last two is vegan). Menu can vary a litle bit.

We will do our outmost to help you with milk free /gluten free/ vegetarian/ vegan options.

You find our menu in your room where you can pick and choose 5 items spread over the menu
for the price of NOK 160,- You can always add up for an extra cost accoding to the pricelist.
Please deliver your order before 10pm to Marna or Arjen (We take credit card).

Pick up time is normally between 08.00 and 10 in the living rooms on each floor, but we can adjust.
Maybee you want breakfast in your room and want it delivered at your door want to take it

outside on the terrace on a sunny morning.
